do you ever just watch so many Roosterteeth videos in one day you sort of sit there like
another can’t hurt
Day 3 of the LOTR 30 Day Challenge
My Least Favorite Location
In all honesty, I am not a big fan of Lake Town/Esgaroth. It reminds me of Venice if it was covered in ice and cold as balls. While I may enjoy either by themselves, but together, I’d hate living here.
"And, Legolas, when the torches are kindled and men walk on the sandy floors under the echoing domes, ah! Then, Legolas, gems and crystals and veins of precious ore glint in the polished walls; and the light glows through folded marbles, shell-like, translucent as the living hands of Queen Galadriel. There are columns of white and saffron and dawn-rose, Legolas, fluted and twisted into dreamlike forms; they spring up from many-coloured floors to meet the glistening pendants of the roof: wings, ropes, curtains fine as frozen clouds; spears, banners, pinnacles of suspended palaces! Still lakes mirror them: a glimmering world looks up from dark pools covered with clear glass; cities, such as the mind of Durin could scarce have imagined in his sleep, stretch on through avenues and pillared courts, on into the dark recesses where no light can come, And plink! A silver drop falls, and the round wrinkles in the glass make all the towers bend and waver like weeds and corals in a grotto of the sea. Then evening comes: they fade and twinkle out; the torches pass on into another chamber and another dream. There is chamber after chamber, Legolas; hall opening out of hall, dome after dome, stair beyond stair; and still the winding paths lead on into the mountains’ heart. Caves! The Caverns of Helm’s Deep! Happy was the chance that drove me there! It makes me weep to leave them."
Day 2 of the Lord of The Rings 30 Day Challenge
My favorite location: The Glittering Caves
Home to my favorite Dwarf, Gimli (Sorry Kili and Fili), after the War of the Ring. In the Two Towers, Gimli makes a wondeous poetic description of such amazing caves when they are about to fight the battle of Helm’s Deep. I would love to live amongst the Dwarves there and behold the beauty myself.
↬ Meriadoc Brandybuck
30 Day Lord of the Rings challenge
My Favorite Hobbit: Meriadoc Brandybuck
He is by far my favorite hobbit. An example of the true courage shown by the hobbits of the Shire and how that even the smallest of all the races became the most crucial. If it wasn’t him and his sword, Eowen would not have been able to slay the Witch King of Angmar and they would have lost the battle and then the war.
Honestly, people who use the guise of anon to spread and express hate and bigotry about or toward someone disgust me. I use the guise of anon to ask questions about things I want to know or confess something without the fear of judgement. But when people say hurtful things while using Anon, they are worse then those who do it publicly. Those who are open about their hatred or bigotry are a thousand times braver than you fucks, but no less wrong. I have a grudging respect for them that I don’t have with those who do so anonymously, but don’t misquote me, I still hate their guts. So, if you are going to be hateful, please, for our sake, be fucking open about it so we can know who to hate.
I say to all anonymous haters, please, go fuck off and die. Whom ever you may be, I hate you from the deepest part of my soul. Good day and please don’t bother us, decent people, until you learn that we will hate you even when you are not anonymous
